watering
Jade vine needs to be watered regularly, but not too much. Water thoroughly about once a week when the surface of the soil is dry to the touch. Allow the top inch of the soil to dry out before watering again. Make sure the plant is not getting too much water by letting it drain - do not allow the plant to sit in excess water.
sunlight
The optimal amount of sunlight for a Jade vine is direct sunlight for around 4 to 6 hours per day. When grown in containers, they should be placed in a south or west-facing window for the best light exposure. During the warmer months of spring and summer, they will typically do best in full sunlight for most of the day. In the fall and winter months, when days are shorter and sunlight is more limited, they should be placed in an area that still receives at least several hours of bright, indirect sunlight each day.
pruning
Jade Vine should be pruned twice a year - in the spring and the fall. Pruning should be moderate in amount to prevent damaging the vines. For pruning in the spring, focus on removing any dead, diseased, or damaged branches and promoting new growth. In the fall, prune back any overgrown vines and remove any suckers (shoots growing from the root-crown). Make sure to use sharp pruning tools and wear protective gloves when pruning.
