Bidens ferulifolia requires moderate water and should be watered every 7-10 days. During periods of heat and drought, increase to every 5 days. When watering, it is important to moisten the soil thoroughly, allowing water to drain out the bottom of the pot. Make sure not to leave the plant sitting in excess water. During the winter months, water much less frequently, allowing the top 2-3 inches of soil to dry out between watering. This will prevent root rot and ensure the health of your plant.

Bidens ferulifolia (incl. hybrid cvs.) requires full-sun or partial sun exposure of up to 8 hours per day. They prefer bright, direct sun in the mornings and late afternoons and partial shade during the hottest parts of the day. This plant thrives best in areas that receive sunlight for most of the day, but can also tolerate a few hours of shade.
