Hellebore (Helleborus 'Confetti Cake') should be watered once a week for about 30 minutes each watering session. Water should be poured when the soil feels slightly damp to the touch at about an inch below the soil surface or until water begins to run out of the pot at the bottom. During the winter months, the frequency of watering can be reduced to once every 2 weeks.

On autumn pruning, cut any overly long or dead stems back to the base of the plant. Additionally, remove any stems that have stopped producing blooms. For both prunings, use sharp bypass pruners with clean blades to avoid tearing or jagged cuts.
