Jacob's ladder

Water Jacob's ladder (Polemonium 'Heaven Scent') regularly during its growing season, which is generally in the spring and summer. Avoid exposing this plant species to direct, mid-day sunlight and the shade should not be too dense.

Pruning should be done to remove any leaf damage or dead foliage, as well as to shape and control the size of the plant. Generally, Jacob's ladder should be pruned back by about 1-third of its height. Pruners should also remove any stems that have been infected with powdery mildew or any other pest damage. This will encourage the plant to grow stronger and healthier in the future.
