Solomon's seal (Polygonatum 'Prince Charming') should be watered on a regular basis, typically every 4 to 6 days. The soil should be kept evenly moist, but not waterlogged. During the hottest summer months, the plant may require more frequent watering. To check if the plant needs water, stick your finger 1-2 inches into the soil and if it feels dry, it’s time to water it. During the winter, allow the soil to dry out between waterings.
