watering

Chrysanthemum 'Yobra' BRAVO should be watered thoroughly twice a week, allowing the soil to dry out slightly between each watering. Make sure the soil is moist but not soaking wet as overwatering can cause issues with root rot. During the summer months when the plant is actively growing, you can increase watering to every 2 to 3 days. Additionally, consider placing a humidity tray or misting to avoid the plant drying out quickly.

sunlight

Chrysanthemum 'Yobra' BRAVO, like other chrysanthemums, prefers full sunlight for a minimum of 6 to 8 hours per day. This plant can tolerate some light shade for part of the day, however, it will require more sun when grown indoors, as the sun coming through the windows is less than that in outdoor bright light.

pruning

Pruning of the Chrysanthemum 'Yobra' BRAVO should begin shortly after the first flower buds appear in the late spring. It is best to prune off any dead or damaged leaves and stems at this time. Prune the stems back to the desired shape and size, removing about 1/3 to 1/2 of the longest shoots. Do not cut back too far, as this can damage the plant. Cut back any weak or unwanted stems to a 5- or 6-leaf bud, and cut back the center stem to about 1/3 of its length. Final pruning should take place in the fall when the leaves begin to die back. Prune the remaining stems back to about a 2-node bud. This will encourage new growth in the following spring.
