Stonecrop (Sedum spurium 'Voodoo') should be watered regularly and deeply. During the growing season, from spring to mid-fall, water the plant every 5-7 days until the soil is moist but not soggy. During the summer, it's a good idea to water your stonecrop more often during especially hot and dry weather. During the winter, water your stonecrop every 2-4 weeks, and less often during unusually cold and wet winters. Always check the soil before watering to determine if the soil is already moist.

Stonecrop (Sedum spurium 'Voodoo') is a succulent perennial plant and as such is best suited to a sunny spot in the garden. They thrive in full sun- 6 or more hours of direct sunlight per day- but can also tolerate part shade if necessary. For best growth and flowering, they should get at least 4 hours of direct sunlight each day. Even though Stonecrop is a drought-tolerant plant, it does require moderate amounts of water during the season; however, it is important to let the soil dry out between waterings.

Stonecrop (Sedum spurium 'Voodoo') should be pruned lightly in the spring after new growth appears, to encourage bushier growth and more flowers. If necessary, it can also be pruned back again in late summer or early fall to keep it looking neat and tidy. It is not necessary to prune it back drastically, as it tends to bounce back nicely.
