Meadow Rue (Thalictrum delavayi 'Hewitt's Double') should be watered regularly and deeply, especially when grown in pots or containers. In the summer months, water about once a week, making sure the soil remains moist but not soggy. In the winter months, water less often, only when the soil is almost dry.
