This plant can withstand both short and long periods of drought, but during the hottest summer months, it would benefit from being watered more frequently - perhaps twice a week. Check the soil moisture before you water, as too much water can be just as detrimental to some plants as too little. Daylily 'Pawn of Prophecy' should not be watered during winter and cold climates, unless the plant and soil are totally dry and the temperature remains above freezing.
