The Orienpet Lily (Lilium 'American Heritage') should be watered frequently, but only when the top of the soil is dry to the touch. This species of lily is drought tolerant, so too much water can damage the roots and reduce the number of blooms. During the spring and summer, water about twice a week. During the fall and winter, water once every 2-3 weeks. If the plant is in a pot, it might need water more frequently.
