Shrub roses need to be watered every day or 2 if planted in a container and every other day or so if planted in the ground. Deep watering is better than frequent shallow watering. When giving your shrub rose water, soak the ground completely, but don’t allow the roots to stay in standing water for too long. Be careful not to water the actual foliage. Water the rose in the morning, as this allows plenty of time for it to dry before nightfall.

Shrub rose (Rosa 'Meizygglie' GRACE N' GRIT RED) generally prefers full sun exposure for at least 6 hours each day. This will encourage the rose bushes to develop healthy leaves and robust blooms.
