watering

Turkish Rocket should be watered regularly throughout the growing season, ideally when the top of the soil is dry. In the spring and summer months, water should be applied approximately twice per week, and slightly less in the fall. During periods of extended hot and dry weather, the plant may need to be watered more often. If the soil becomes too wet it can easily lead to overwatering and root rot, so it is important to check the soil before providing additional water. Alternatively, you can add mulch around the plant to help conserve moisture, and will also help reduce weeds.

sunlight

Turkish Rocket plants require moderate to full sunlight for optimal growth. They prefer about 6-8 hours of direct or indirect sunlight each day. As with many species, the amount and duration of sunlight will depend on the location in which the plant is grown. If the plant is grown outdoors, it will be exposed to the daily cycle of sunlight, including sunlight both in the morning and the afternoon. If grown indoors, it is best to provide the plants with about 8 to 10 hours of filtered light each day in order to provide them with the required energy for growth.

pruning

Turkish Rocket should be pruned late in the season between July and September. Pruning should only be done when the plant is starting to become a little too large for the space it is filling. It is best to simply remove the flower buds when pruning and avoid any drastic changes. If it is necessary to reduce the size of the plant, only main stems should be removed, as side stems should be left intact to maintain the form of the plant. This will also help to maintain plenty of flowers for the following season.
