Coral bells (Heuchera 'Tiramisu') require moderate watering but will benefit from consistent moisture levels. Water this plant weekly, making sure the soil is lightly moist but not soggy. When watering, pour the water around the perimeter of the plant until it is evenly moist throughout the soil. Consider watering in the morning so the plant’s leaves will be dry by early evening. In periods of prolonged drought, you may need to water them more frequently – up to twice weekly. In winter, reduce the amount of water and water less frequently.

Coral bells need plenty of sunlight throughout the day to thrive; the best situation for them is 6 hours of direct sun daily, and then afternoon shade to protect them from burning in the hot summer sun. When planting Heuchera 'Tiramisu', make sure the site is in full sun during morning hours, and has some shade from the sun during the hottest afternoon hours. If planted in an area where it does not get enough sunlight, the leaves of the coral bells will be dull in color and the plant may not flower.

Coral bells (Heuchera 'Tiramisu') should be pruned once a year in late winter or early spring. The pruning should be light, focusing on removing any dead, diseased or straggly growth and shaping the plant as desired. As a general rule, it is best to prune no more than 1-third of a coral bells’ overall height. If pruning more than 1-third of the plant, wait until spring to prune as coral bells may be smothered by snow that has accumulated over the winter if heavily pruned.
