Do not let the plant stand in water for prolonged periods as this could cause it to rot.

It is best to give the plant full morning sun, and then slightly dappled shade during the hottest part of the day. As Sneezewort naturally grows in lightly shaded areas, it is important to adjust the amount of sunlight based on the time of year and your plant's environment.

Pruning should be completed in early spring, once the plant has begun to emerge from winter dormancy.
