Lady Tulips should be watered once a week. Lady tulips (Tulipa clusiana 'Cynthia') should be pruned in midsummer after flowering. Prune off the spent flower heads, cutting them just below the bloom. Be sure to leave the foliage intact so that the plants can continue to photosynthesize. You should also remove dead or damaged leaves.
