Deutzia hybrida 'Mont Rose' should be watered regularly during the growing season (spring/summer). Water deeply and thoroughly when the top inch or 2 of soil is dry to the touch. Deutzia hybrida 'Mont Rose' should be pruned in late winter or very early spring, just before it begins to flower. Pruning should be minimal, with only 1/3 of the oldest branches and stems removed.
