The best practice for pruning Heuchera 'Amethyst Myst' is to remove dead or damaged foliage down to the base of the plant. If needed, thin out overgrown stems to rejuvenate the plant. This will help to prevent the foliage or flowers from competing for resources and support healthier growth. Heuchera 'Amethyst Myst' does not require heavy pruning and should only be cut as needed. Be sure to prune lightly and avoid cutting into the old woody stems.
