Floribunda roses should be watered regularly and deeply to ensure healthy growth, especially in hot, dry climates. Water thoroughly once or twice a week, soaking the soil and ensuring complete saturation. If there is no rainfall, or if rainfall is not enough, additional watering may be necessary. When temperatures are high, more frequent watering may be required. Water the root zone, and avoid wetting foliage as this can promote fungal diseases. Allow the top several inches of soil to dry out between waterings. Too much soil wetness can lead to root rot. Be sure to water early in the day so that the leaves have time to dry off before nightfall.

Floribunda roses (Rosa 'Wekplapep' SCENTIMENTAL) prefer 6-8 hours of sunlight a day. This should be direct sunlight, such as that found outdoors, during the warmest part of the day (usually between 10am and 4pm, depending on the time of year). They can also tolerate some dappled or indirect sunlight, but not for more than a few hours in a day. To ensure these roses get enough sunlight, position them in a spot that gets at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight during the warmest part of the day.

Floribunda roses, such as the Rosa 'Wekplapep' Scentimental variety, should be pruned in late winter or early spring (January through March). Pruning should involve removing the oldest canes and those that are crossing or rubbing against 1 another. Once the dead or diseased growth has been cleared away, reduce the remaining canes by 1-third of their length. Finally, reduce the remaining canes to between 3 and 5 leaf buds if necessary for shaping. The goal is to encourage the formation of many vigorous canes which will produce roses throughout the summer.
