Savin juniper is a coniferous shrub from the family Cupressaceae. It grows in the shape of a low mound, reaching around 1 meter in height and width, with individually small scale-like leaves and an attractive blue-green color. The 'Mini Arcade' cultivar has a fine branching structure with numerous, dense sprays of foliage. The bark is reddish-brown, and it produces small cones that are about 5 mm in size and contain tiny seeds.
